The soldier's wife

Once upon a time there was a soldier happily lilving with his wife. They loved each other and enjoyed spending their time together.
But one day war came, and the soldier was called to join the army at the front. Both he and his wife never wanted this moment to come, as their love was so strong that the departure was going to be long and painful. But life chose differently, and he was ordered to leave. They both knew that the forced separation was necessary, as the duty was calling him, although none of them knew if he was ever going to come back, he could die at the front or be kidnapped and disappear in the enemy lines. All they could do was to kiss goodbye and put themselves in the hands of destiny.
